Summary -
This Handbook is similar in format to the original handbook that was written in 2020 (in response to the release of the 2019 Department of Education Federal Regulations) and includes a discussion of the requirements under the most recent Final Regulations which were released on October 31, 2023. These federal rules directly link institutional compliance with state laws and regulations to eligibility to participate in federal financial aid under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, HEA programs. The rules now reference both licensure and disclosures in the same section.
